This was taken during intermission of Lowell Liebermann's new chamber orchestra arrangement of his opera, The Picture of Dorian Gray. The Venue was the Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center (home of the Philadelphia Orchestra) in Philadelphia, PA. It was great to have the composer there for the rehearsals and performances, too especially since his contribution to flute repertoire is very significant.
A recent review (in which both David DiGiacobbe and I are named) can be found at the City Paper.
Other reviews can be found at the Philadelphia Daily News and at the Philadelphia Inquirer archived portion of their website, however you have to pay $2 to view it. I have it on email, so I can send it to you if you want.
A little background can be found at the Courier Post Online
